Herman sat enjoying a delicious plate of Cakes and Cider. It was noon time. Soon the sun would reach her zenith and Herman would be full. Herman was happy. Although by no means is the institution of Cakes and Cider to be taken lightly, it is something only a true hero, a true salt could possibly understand. Although, Herman was not of this salt, he was of a good moral fiber, and bore the good mental understanding that only the lose of a leg could provide. Herman?s face grew solid and cruel, the children that played at his feet understood that he was no longer there; he had mentally stepped out for a few if you will. Herman was in fact in his memories back at the old base camp, walking, pacing proudly, on two legs. It had been weeks since they left Montleveina. Traveling with him, as always was the Great Grandfather of Pip Pip Fernando, Fidencio Fernando, and of course (the then Doc) Cooper.
Doc Cooper and Fidencio thought the actions of Herman to be complete poppycock. Even if they could somehow find the secret FoamSmithy how were they going to deal with the FoamSmith? The legends of the "Great Foam Forge"tell of the FoamSmith and the terrible acts he performed to perfect his craft of Foam Smithing into what can only be described as masterful and faultless, he would be waiting, he was always waiting. They both knew that no fear would shake their friend Herman from his dream, no fear at all, in fact it was the cat that began to use the wooden knob a the end of what use to be the beginning of his knee that brought him back to reality. A quick spasm, the cat was gone and the Cider all over his lap (I told you he was not that kind of salt). <<<<<
