Uncle Cooper claimed that in the right conditions, he could propel himself great distances by merely flexing his thigh muscles. The reason he wore the same stupid raincoat all the time was because it looked like a rocketship and he believed it improved his aerodynamics. One time, he shared with us the science behind his powers, but none of us ever bought into the whole idea. The idea of a flying man was absurd, especially Uncle Cooper, considering that one incident caused him to fall from the roof of the house. His power would, however, explain how he always manages to show up at our house uninvited on Thanksgiving despite living four states away and having no car or money.<<<<
