Barny Bodoni and Calliope led a charmed life for many years, drifitng from counrty to country in the balloon which they christened "the Delilah Blue". They had 3 children, all of which inherited their mother's ability to float. This led to an unfortunate episode with the youngest child, Ariel, who was caught in an updraft off the coast of western Africa and was recovered, bruised and hungry, in the upper branches of an ancient palm amongst a family of marmosets.
Aside from this incident, the children grew up strong and happy and depsite their unusual abilities, normal. Barry and Calliope retired the "Delilah Blue" in the late 60s and settled down to an eathbound existnece in the suburbs of Kansas City. <<<<<
